WAHINGTON: A large social media platform 'Twitter' has recently Suspended over 10,000 twitter accounts for posting messages, in which their main objectives are to discourage people from Voting in Tuesday's US Election.

"We took a strict action against those accounts which were constantly in violation of our policies," the spokesman of Twitter said in an email. This is not the first time, the twitter suspended a huge number of accounts. The same kind of action was taken back in late September too.

According to sources, Twitter has suspended more than 10,000 accounts. The number is huge, considering that Twitter has previously deleted millions of accounts for spreading misleading information back in the 2016 US Presidential elections.

The violation on twitter was reported by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee or DCCC, a party group that supports Democrats working for the US House of Representatives. After the removal of a mass number of twitter accounts, it's been considered as an early win for fledged efforts by DCCC.
