The internet giant, Google has once again updated some of the functionality inside their search engine. But it looks like this changes are not meant to be good for the users. According to the officials, Google has added the websites along with their favicon/icons. So this means whenever someone google something, the search results will also include the icons of the websites along with their breadcrumbs or links.
On this update, Google officials have said that these changes are done in order to make the user clearer where the links will lead to.
To us, the user experience of Google search engine really feels futile and annoying due to this update. As per Google statement, the favicons are for helping the user to estimate where these links will lead to. But how can a user predicting the content of a website just by looking at the website's icon?
Many other tech magazines are also criticizing this Google's update. Even The Verge has called this update as 'annoying'.
