Scientists using Artificial Intelligence to curb Coronavirus

As the development of Artificial Intelligence in the field of Computers, it gave so much relief to wherever it is being used as of today. AI is leading everywhere from sectors include Hospitals, Colleges, Banking etc.

Meanwhile, Computer Scientists are busy in utilizing the power of Artificial Intelligence to come up with any idea/treatment so that relief can be given to the people struggling with this corona virus disease.

Today, not only the China but the whole world fears the widespread of Coronavirus or Covid-19 that took out lives of more than thousands of people. Most of the coronavirus patients are in China right now. Even though the Corona Virus has got a huge increase in number of cases but the doctors are still struggling to tackle this disease.




Reports suggesting that the world's leading medical institutes are working on Covid-19 using the latest AI techniques. They are constantly gathering Data sets from these patients and by using these data sets in machine learning algorithms, there are great number of chances that the Scientists will come up with any possible solution using Artificial Intelligence.

Earlier, a Computer program was developed by Rui Chang, Associate Professor of Neurology in University of Arizona College of Medicine in which the algorithms successfully identify the stages of drug treatment using the patient's genetic information. Later, this program was licensed by a startup in Arizona that uses genetic information of million of people for different research purposes.

In another case, University of Cambridge discovered an algorithm that can be used for the discovery of 4 important molecules in the blood samples which is thought to the actual symptom behind the Alzheimer's disease and schizophrenia. This machine learning program was proved to be twice as successful as an ordinary medical drug research and could accelerate the possible treatment of the patient suffering with this critical diseases of brain.
